The
Rural Economic Development arm of the GPA EDC provides
services exclusively to the County of Peterborough. The
Manager of Rural Economic Development works with the community
to help facilitate economic development strategies and to
assist in the creation of partnerships between the private
sector and other levels of government. Existing businesses in
the County benefit from Business Retention and Expansion
efforts, the Business Advisory Centre and the newly
established grant writing assistance program. Potential
businesses utilize our site selection services and benefit
from our re-location assistance initiatives.
